History Place Music of Johann Sebastian Bach — known for its outstanding beauty. AMF presents the Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, the D minor piano concerto, and a Trio Aria from Cantata No. 100.

Performance Update (9/19/12): We are pleased to announce that Andrew Willis, virtuoso harpsichordist, will perform in the Brandenberg Concerto No. 5. Also, Elizabeth Anderson will be replaced by baroque cellist Stephanie Vial.

Jennifer Licko, with her Fire in the Kitchen Band, is known for her stunning vocal range with a voice that hypnotizes with sensitivity and warmth. She skillfully plays the piano and guitar, accordion and bodhrán (Irish drum) and has long been a North Carolina favorite, before taking her career to the national scene.

First Presbyterian Church AMF is proud to present the first North Carolina performances of Aaron Diehl, recent winner of the prestigious Cole Porter Prize from the American Pianists Association. Hailed by the Chicago Tribune and the New York Times, Mr. Diehl has performed with the Wynton Marsalis Septet, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and many of the nation’s great jazz stars.
